ALEXANDER ZVEREV on Sunday at the 02 ARENA in LONDON  inflicted a  shocking  straight sets defeat of  6-4 6-3   on  world number one NOVAK DJOKOVIC to win the season-ending ATP FINALS and earn the biggest victory of his career becoming first German since BORIS  BECKER to win this event since 1995.

The GERMAN world number four lost to the SERB in straight sets in the round-robin stage but bounced back to defeat ROGER FEDERER in Saturday’s semi-finals.

The IVAN LENDL tutored 21 year old  who has never won a GRAND SLAM title became only the fourth player to beat FEDERER and DJOKOVIC in the semis and finals of a tournament, the others being ANDY MURRAY, RAFAEL NADAL and DAVID NALBANDIAN.
