dreamstime_xl_31270318The Nigerian cycling team says they are going to put in their best and make Nigeria proud in the on-going 11th all African games in Brazzaville Congo, this according to a member of the team, tombra kpadripa from Rivers state while speaking in an exclusive interview with wefm talksports at the Olympic village in Brazzaville yesterday. Tombra said the team is motivated and will deliver.

When asked if she has all it takes to give the country a medal in terms of preparation,the cyclist said she misses Nigerian food and would prefer to have eba and ogbono soup to motivate her in camp.

Also lending his voice was the chief coach of the team Mohammed Bashir who said the cyclist in both male and female categories are ready for the individual and team events but their main rivals are the South-Africans but his team can surmount any hurdle.

The cycling team will commence their events in individual and team events on Thursday and round it up on Sunday.
