The chairman of PLATEAU STATE KARATE ASSOCIATION, CALEB GIDADO has challenged TEAM PLATEAU state KARATE TEAM to go for gold when they compete in the on-going 19TH NATONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL tagged ‘’ABUJA 2018’’.

Hosting the karate team to lunch on Saturday  in  Abuja,  the chairman advised the athletes to obey camp rules and compete fairly shunning any form of doping.

GIDADO who also doubles as the general manager of AFRICAN UNION SPORTS COUNCIL REGION 2 , enjoined the team to exhibit  the highest level of discipline  and be good ambassadors of PLATEAU STATE.

Reacting on behalf of his colleagues, team captain ANTHONY DANIEL promised the karate boss that his team will do the state proud.  Also speaking at the lunch meeting, team coach PEDRO PAUL thanked GIDADO for his kind gesture and promised  that the team will return the favour by putting up a podium performance.

PLATEAU STATE karate team will feature five males and three females for the games
