PLATEAU UNITED of JOS on Sunday extended their lead by six points at the top of the NIGERIAN   PROFESSIONAL  FOOTBALL  LEAGUE  NPFL table with a 1-0 victory over MFM FC of LAGOS on match day 34  at the RWANG PAM stadium in JOS . The very tensed match saw IBEH JOHNSON providing the solitary strike that separated both teams  and  moved  the KENNEDY BOBOYE tutored side to 62points at the  summit of the NPFL table with four matches to play.

In other games, ABIA  WARRIORS  playing at home defeated 3SC of IBADAN by 2-0 to further put relegation pressures on the OLUYOLE WARRIORS.

ENYIMBA of ABA defeated ABS of  ILORIN  by  2-0  in  CALABAR  while AKWA UNITED thrashed NIGER TORNADOES of MINNA by 3-0 at the NEST OF CHAMPIONS in UYO.

Meanwhile REMO STARS of SAGAMU became the first team to be relegated this season after they lost 1-3 at home to RIVERS UNITED of PORT-HARCOURT.
