MONACO FC has appointed ARSENAL legend THIERY HENRY as  their new manager for a three year period after parting ways with LEONARDO JARDIM.

The former JUVENTUS, BARCELONA and NEW YORK RED BULLS star began his football career in MONACO where he won the LIGUE 1 title in 1997.

The FRENCHMAN, has been assistant coach of BELGIUM since 2016 and helped them to a third-placed finish at the WORLD CUP in RUSSIA. 

MONACO  are third from bottom in LIGUE 1 having won only one game in all competitions all season.

HENRY’S first game in charge will be against STRASBOURG in the league on 20 October, before a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE tie with CLUB BRUGGE four days later.
