LEWIS HAMILTON won his fifth F1 World title on Sunday despite coming fourth at the AUTODROMO HERMANOS RODRIGUEZ  in  MEXICO.

HAMILTON needed to finish seventh in a race won by REDBULL MAX VEXTAPPAN for a second year running while FERARRI duo of SEBATIAN VETTEL and KIMI RAIKONNEN finished second and third respectively.

The MERCEDES driver becomes only the third man in history to win five world titles matching legendary ARGENTINE JUAN MANUEL FANGIO and is two behind all-time record holder MICHAEL SCHUMACHER.

The next stop on the F1 calendar will be the BRAZILLIAN GRAND PRIX.
