Members of House committee on sports led by HONORABLE GONI LAWAL were at the super eagles training session on Saturday as eagles Intensify   their preparations ahead of the quarter final  encounter between the SUPER EAGLES and the PALANCAS NEGRAS  of  ANGOLA at on-going  TOTAL  CAF CHAN CHAMPIONSHIP in TANGIER, MOROCCO.

The lawmakers   from  the  GREEN CHAMBERS got to training ground before the arrival of the super at  about 4:15pm  Moroccan time and  were introduced to the entire team by the   team  coordinator  Mr  PATRICK PASCHAL .

Honourable GONI  LAWAL  addressed  the  team  and back room staff on behalf of the delegation commending  the hard-work and dedication of the team so far while urging  them  to make the country proud.

Recall that the house committee was with the super eagles at the last edition of the WAFU CUP where Nigeria was second best to host Ghana.

Spokesperson of the Green chamber, HONOURABLE   ABDULRAZAK NAMDAS from   ADAMAWA STATE also reminded the team of the enormous task ahead of them as they carry the hopes and aspirations of 180million Nigerians.

The delegation ended their visit with an assurance of support from the house of  representatives  as well as a promise of a surprise package if the team eventually wins the trophy.

Others members of the entourage includes   HONOURABLE BEBE UCHENNA EKE from IMO  STATE  and  HON. ORKER JEV representing  BENUE STATE.

SUPER EAGLES of  Nigeria  plays  ANGOLA on Sunday for a semi-final ticket.
