BASKETBALL: WARRIORS TO PLAY CAVALIERS IN FOURTH STRAIGHT NBA FINALS
Reigning NBA champions GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS will play CLEVELAND CAVALIERS in the NBA finals for the fourth successive year after a STEPH CURRY inspired second half comeback gave the defending champions a 101-92 victory over HOUSTON ROCKETS.
Curry scored 27 points as WARRIORS overcame a 15-point deficit to triumph in their game seven, securing a 4-3 series victory overall.
The CLEVELAND CAVALIERS however defeated the BOLTON CELTICS on Sunday to set up the mouth-watering encounter.
The Championship series begins on 1 June as the CAVS visit the WARRIORS in OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA.
The WARRIORS were champions in 2015 and 2017, while the CAVS claimed the 2016 title.
